Angela was inspired by an evening dress commission from a private client who wanted a showstopping, but formal, dress to wear at the Dorchester Hotel for a 40th birthday party. Designed in silk crepe with modern beading shown as couture roses the formal look of the long, fishtail skirt in silk crepe forms an amazing contrast with the twisted straps winding their way down a bare back.
