Sadie B
Sadie B
Sadie B loves to spend time with each bride to ensure a look that is uniquely hers.
The Sadie B vision is to break down the staid conformity of a traditional bridalwear salon and inject creativity, and a dash of modernity into the all-white landscape.
Bespoke natural style
Sadie B takes inspiration from the body: which shapes and proportions best suit different body types. Because all dresses are bespoke, the fabric in each dress can be varied according to the bride’s preference. Shape and silhouette can also be subtly tweaked to maximise the bride’s individual look.
Perfect hand crafted detail
Each dress is hand made and hand finished. Sadie B are passionate about using traditional couture techniques in creating a classic, modern wedding dress. The dress may be constructed using several layers of fabric, which support the outer fabrics and make the wedding gown look as beautiful and as effortless as possible.
Beading and embroidery is all undertaken by hand: glass and river pearls, Swarovski crystals, lace, sumptuous silks and sinuous satins all combine with the studio’s skilled craftsmanship to produce a unique, handmade wedding dress.
The romance of the day
The organisation is complete, the weather is perfect, the bridesmaids are all happy, the mother-of-the bride looks beautiful, the father of the bride looks proud and the day is set to be perfect. Knowing that you are stepping into a beautiful, handmade, bespoke dress is the icing on the cake
How the bride might see the Sadie B service
Cups of coffee, chat, meeting the family, talking about the day, planning for the day, planning the dress for the day, planning your dress for the day, fitting your dress, planning the veil, matching shoes, family see dress, hemline checked, checked again, sewn, glass of champagne, dress pick up arranged, packed, ready when you are
How Sadie B see the Sadie B Service
Which dresses to try on, getting my eye in, what suits you, try something you might not have thought of, what would you like to wear, where are you getting married, how many guests are you having, fittings, changing fitting times, is ivory best, would white work better, does hair look better up, is the length of the train right, is the length of the veil right, would more beading be better, should side seams be taken in, is a slimmer silhouette better
Practical service pointers
Once a bride has chosen her wedding gown the real work starts! Each bespoke dress is created in the studio to the bride’s exact individual measurements. As part of the made-to-measure service, 3-5 fittings are generally needed to ensure a perfect fit and complete happiness on the part of the bride.
